Previous School: Perez is in her second year at Western after playing in the fourth through sixth positions for the 17th ranked Virginia Commonwealth University Rams... also played #3 in doubles for the Rams... finished the 2001-02 season at 4-3 in singles and 2-1 in doubles... her VCU team won the Colonial Athletic Association championship and made it as far as the championship match in the NCAA Finals during her sophomore season... while at VCU, Perez earned a 3.4 GPA.

In Spain: As a junior tennis player in Spain, Perez finished as high as first in her state and eighth in the country... she is not only a strong athlete, but a strong student as well, graduating in the top four of her high school class...

Personal: Rocio is the daughter of Antonio Perez... plan on majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology.
